The DNIT Updates the Geographic Reference Codes in Paraguay

The National Directorate of Tax Revenues (DNIT) of Paraguay has published a new version of the Geographic Reference Codes table on its official website.

The purpose of this update is to incorporate new districts and localities into the technical documentation, strengthening the accuracy of the geographic identification processes that are part of the country’s tax and accounting operations.

New additions by department

  • Concepción: 4 districts with 50 localities.
  • San Pedro: 1 district with 60 localities.
  • Itapúa: 1 district with 40 localities.
  • Alto Paraná: 2 districts with 24 localities.
  • Amambay: 1 district with 16 localities.
  • Presidente Hayes: 2 districts with 131 localities.
  • Boquerón: 2 districts with 2 localities.
  • Alto Paraguay: 1 district with 19 localities.
  • Canindeyú: 1 district with 4 localities.

These changes reflect the DNIT’s commitment to a more accurate and transparent tax system, aligned with the country’s territorial realities.
