Ministry of Finance Update: New Version 1.2 of the Transmission System Catalogs

The Ministry of Finance of El Salvador has announced the release of a new update to the Transmission System documentation, applicable to market solutions.
This update introduces version 1.2 of the Transmission System Catalogs, which includes changes that companies should consider to ensure proper management and submission of fiscal information.

Update Details

In version 1.2, modifications were made to two main catalogs, incorporating new codes that must be integrated into the corresponding systems:

Catalog Code Catalog Name Changes Introduced (Version 1.2)
CAT-027 Customs Warehouse (Recinto Fiscal) – Added Code 40 – Z. F EMCO.– Added Code 41 – Z. F Gigante.
CAT-019 Economic Activity Code – Added Code 47120 – Stores (sale of various items) and sale of motor vehicles and motorcycles.

 

Effective Date

The changes will take effect starting December 1, 2025.
Organizations are encouraged to review their configurations and internal catalogs in advance to ensure proper adaptation to the new regulation.
